Update on Animation

This is an update to my animation. I have added some shadows to the origami models using the flip tool in After Effects and I have also played around with the keying more to get rid of the flake parts that appeared in some of the models.  Advanced Innovative Animation Update from Jack Vanes on Vimeo.

Adding Shadows
After Effects provides a plug-in 3D effect that can provide shadows to layers. However I did not use this method because it did not turn out correctly and the shadows would not read the keylight effect. Instead I duplicated the object layer and then used the flip preset. I then used the fill tool to make the flipped object black to give the shadow appearance. I then used the Gaussian blur and turned the opacity down which made the shadow a bit more dynamic.
